I spent two days reading the book , I love Tiffany Haddish she is a refection of me a beautiful , funny and passionate individual.
The movie “GIRLS TRIP” the role she played as dina is a real life character of tiffany , I love her because she is read and when I found out she has a book , I was like am going to real this book not because is going to be funny just as the way she describes it on her interview with Trevor Noah but the fact she is sharing her life experience as a thirty eight years old woman.
I am going to share from the book the life lessons to learn from the last black unicorn.
1 LOVE YOUR TALENT
Tiffany has a talent for making people laugh and she made good use of it even when she is not sound in education , she use her talent as a skill to earn a living.
2 BE YOURSELF
She is always herself , funny , weird and crazy , she is not the type that like to impress people , she does things because she love it and she is her own kind of person.
3 NO TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
She experience domestic violence when she was married to her ex husband as she calls it inside the book and it was when she lost a child she later realize that she can’t keep living this kind of man , staying with a man that is always choking her is not love but murder and suicide.
4 HAVE FUN AND BE HAPPY
Tiffany is a fun person and she is fun to be with always happy and making people laugh with her comedy and those words she say her personal experiences that are true and not fabrication.
5 LOVE YOUR PARENT NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE
I love the fact that even when she her mum is crazy and mentally ill always beating her , she stood by her mother no matter who she is and I love her for that , is not all children who can be so proud to acknowledge their parent and family background , she is indeed a good child even when she is not perfect.
6 MOVE WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE AND NOT NEGATIVE PEOPLE
Tiffany friends were positive and some were negative and she decided for her to succeed and be wealthy she need to change the friends she keep , she decided to move with positive people that have change her life like Jaden and Will Smith and Kelvin Hart and others.
7 LOVE YOUR COLOR AS A BLACK WOMAN AND STAND OUT
This is the part I love most black women during that time where changing their skins to white , tiffany did not she was proud of her color even when it was hard to accept her color she was bold and brave and her comedy was unique , she is known as the “queen of jokes” she stands out not just because of her color but her content even the white and blacks where looking for her.
