Job description
Research automobile-related topics
Write fresh articles by compiling information from online sources, such as posts, interviews, studies etc.
Source for visual-aid materials such as photos and videos
Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
Revise drafts as instructed by editors
Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Update website content as needed.
Promote content on social media
Requirements
B.Sc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
At least 5 years’ experience as writer/editor of high-quality international standard, or professional journalist
Experience of working for major Nigerian newspapers is an advantage
Familiarity with web publication and SEO writing
Good knowledge of automobile and Nigerian automobile market
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress
Excellent research skill
The certain degree of technical proficiency (Google docs, taking screenshot etc.)
Ability to meet deadlines and quota
Strong sense of commitment and responsibility
Salary and benefits
Up to $900, based on performance
Average income: $300-$500
Up to 60$ bonus for quality articles every month

How we work
We work remotely via Skype and Google Docs. Basically, you research and write, submit drafts to the CMS, do the revisions if necessary and we will publish it.
You are required to submit at least 10-12 articles (300-1000 words) per week.
We pay monthly via bank transfer, in US dollars.
