I was born on July 17, 1995, into the family of Mr and Mrs Jacob Gowon
I am the firstborn of the family
I was known professionally as "mpj" am a Rapper /singer and I'm a songwriter,
I started my musical career a few years ago with a group call 3zeez in Kogi state.
My mum and dad was not in support of me becoming an artists
This group help me build my musical career...
All my parents wanted was for me become a graduate because the do not have the opportunity of going to school...
In 2008 the group did their first recording single which was title ibedu
In that same year, I was planning to write my west Africa Examination was looking at the condition of my family, I was looking on how to contribute with my God to my family...
I call the attention of my group after I have done my registration with the little money remaining we leave for Lagos to see if we can get a marketer that can buy our single
We spend three days on the street of Lagos looking for the marketer that will buy the song from us and we have no money anything to eat nowhere to sleep for good three days... We clean our self with just pure water and eat a slice of beard for morning and also for evening sleep at the bus station and wake up very early so that people will not see us...
After searching we met Mr AHBU ventures he listened to the song he told
us that the song is just a single and the single I not properly mixed by
the producer... But that was our first single...
He says to us that I love the rapper in the song and he rated the song 40 over 100
He encourages us never to give up our vision in life that sky is our limit
Just that word give me a stand mindset towards life...
Coming back to Kogi state was hell we had no money on us we have to go and beg people, sell our phone, the money we make can only pay for two sit to Kogi and we are three I ask them to sit while I stand to Kogi state...
Before we reach home, information about my whereabouts my parents and their parents were told that we left school to Lagos
My parents were mad at me but after sometime I explain my self to them that I can not look at how they are suffering themself for me to get a life when I know those who graduated from the university without a good job...
And she forgives me and she runs around to find the money for me to back to school and which I did ... coming back from school after my exams no more 3zeez.
I said to my self I must stand and fight by my self.
How I meet Mr David Yusuf he just talking about music and I join them that was how I meet David Yusuf I no that he was a producer.
One day he was just looking at my phone as me to give my phone to him which I did he make call and he was looking at all the things I have there so he saw some records and he did to play it and he listened to the raw voice out he say nice one he smiles and he invited me to his studios and I record a single with S. D, of the song was title I love the way
2009 Mr David live in the town
2010 I was with G. f working as a back artist going on local shows my parents were not happy with me...
2011 I got admission into isms(international school of merchant seaman) lokoja not knowing that the school was fake... But was not in the school but on my music after my parents find out I was back home...
Another admission in 2012 zenith university college Accra Ghana ?? I was going a course to study (HRM) and I was doing account and was doing my music I was just trying my best... Not to fuck up this time but I just stop it.
I judge my self and get my self out of school I use my fee to shoot a musical video control me which I recorded with G. f before leaving to Ghana I even for to pay my rent just to shoot that video all just want was my voice to heard... I could not afford to pay my house rent at labadi I was sleeping outside of a country that was not my country just a better life... But my mother never understand my vision
I was sleeping out the street of Ghana ?? I have no home
No friend to talk to
Sometimes I do not have anything to eat
At time I meet a friend call Ebuka but I call him "boss man G " he was a Nigeria ?? that wants to go out in search of greener pasture we become friends and he ask me not worry after he listened to my song in that period boss man G was scam the passport that was given him was fake because he was planning to leave Ghana to turkey so he returns to Nigeria ??
I return to Nigeria in 2014 things was not rose at all from me
2015 I was admitted at covenant polytechnic and I was doing other jobs to see my self and my music career forward
I win the second-best Rapper position at covenant polytechnic.
Now I am a final year student...
I am bringing out hot jam to take over the world I love you, mama...
