Comedian Woli Arole shares how he was almost ‘scammed’ after being told to send ₦400k to receive a jeep in Togo
Comedian and content creator Woli Arole has shared a funny story of how he was nearly ‘scammed’ this year.
In a post on Instagram, he revealed that someone messaged him claiming God instructed them to gift him a jeep in Togo.
According to him, the person then asked him to send ₦400,000 to give a driver who would deliver the vehicle, or alternatively come to Togo to pick it up.
Reacting to the experience, he noted that greed can make people fall for such scams.
