He said my son would never stay with us - Nigerian single mom reveals why she turned down a marriage proposal
A Nigerian single mom, Kristie Onwukwe, has revealed that she turned down a marriage proposal that came with a condition excluding her child.
According to Kristie, the man gave her several conditions which she accepted.
However, when he mentioned that her son would not stay with them, she turned down the proposal.
"In 2022, I was jejely on my own when this young man said he wanted to marry me, I said “no wam, let’s do this”. she wrote."Now if you know me, you’ll know I always talk about my son, I don even march break small because he decided to spend time with grandma and so I don’t get to record his daily “doings”"So this man gave me conditions. It included that I would of course move to a different city entirely, not the one I recently moved to."I would also pause on my business and “focus”. I was to start traveling more because he wanted his babies born outside the country. No wam."Then the most important part, my son was never to stay with us, never! He was to stay away from our house, just be wherever else. Haaaaa!"I remembered this event on Monday when my son turned 12 and I couldn’t stop laughing."No, I will not hide anything and I don’t want you to choose me and fling him out, stopeet!"You people should leave me bikonu.
