I was at the institute of religion at the church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saint a religious course — REL 121–122 .
We were reading a scripture from the book of Mormon , Mosiah 4 : 30
While going through that reading there were powerful words that king Benjamin said that we should be conscious and we should watch our thought , deeds and actions.
I asked a question that how can we watch our thought , deeds and actions is so easy to say , we live in a world where immorality has taken place and as Christians we are privilege to have this gospel , is not just about having the knowledge and understanding is basically applying the principles and doctrines being taught in our personal life.
There were great advice they shared and I want us to learn from it.
1 Focus your attention on the savior

2 Create your own environment , According to Elder Morakiyo a RETURN MISSIONARY . He further said:
3 Choose the kinds of friends you move with.
4 Choose the kind of media you watch.
Then others said:
5 Have a firm foundation of the gospel.
6 Have a goal
He shared an experience of lady who focus on the temple that is what we youth should focus on and not the materials things of the world.

Study thy scriptures.
Be of the world and not of the world.
Focus on eternal perspective , she explained that youth should have a goal and focus on the eternal perspective and not the world things.

“ we focus more on so many things than the bible which is wrong and we need to cultivate the habit of timing ourselves to read about the gospel of Jesus Christ if is twenty or five minute , we should take our time and not rush on the things of God , we should not be distracted.
I was really inspire by their contributions and it goes a long way in my life and that of thousand of youth or trillions reading this article.
The material things will surely perish and I will say we can change our lifestyle not leaving our friends because they are also learning from us but do not imitate them.
Always focus on the savior examples and his teachings , avoid watching porn is really hard but yes you can do it .
